Where are you located?

We are located in Ma’alaea Harbor, centrally positioned between the Kahului Airport and most resort areas on Maui. Look for Slip #41 and the boat “Jun Ken Po”

What should we bring?

First and foremost, a great attitude with lots of positive vibes – the fish love it! Apart from that, please bring adequate sun protection including protective clothing, sunglasses, hat/visor, and sunscreen (no spray sunscreen please!).

We’ll have a cooler with ice onboard for any water, drinks, snacks, and lunches (no bananas) that you may want during your charter. You will want to purchase these items the day before since most stores aren’t open that early in the morning.

Do we need a fishing license?

No, the state of Hawaii does not require fishing licenses. The boat carries all appropriate licenses and permits to operate commercial fishing charters.

Are families and kids welcome?

Absolutely! We love hosting families! We do ask that if there are 2 or more children under the age of 10, that there are at least two adults on board to supervise.

What is the maximum number of guests on your boat?

We are licensed to take up to (6) guests.

Is there a restroom on the boat?

Yes, we have a clean and comfortable restroom on the boat.

What happens in case of bad weather?

Seldom do we get inclement weather, but it can happen. If this happens, we will do our best to re-schedule your trip for another day during your stay, or if no other options are available, we will refund 100% of any money paid for your fishing trip.

Can we keep our catch?

If you are staying in a condo or house and have access to a kitchen, we are happy to fillet some of the smaller fish (under 50 pounds) to take with you. We do not fillet fish over 50 pounds. Local Hawaiian culture is that fish is eaten fresh and never frozen or wasted.

What about tipping?

It is our goal to exceed your expectations! If you feel your Captain and Crew have done a great job for you on your fishing charter, tipping is always appreciated.
